Our cornerstones

Truck driving through a forest from birds eye view
1. Big because we dare to be small.

There are pros and cons to everything. When you’re small, you’re flexible and resourceful, and you’re more likely to adapt and come up with new ideas. On the other hand, being big is pretty good too. You have more experience, are more logical and are much taller and can reach the cookie jar more easily. At OnRoad, we’re a bit of both.

2. Modern because we’re a bit old-fashioned.

We value the contact we have with our customers through our networks. It’s important to us that you can always turn to a person you know, who understands you and your situation. That’s why we go against the grain. When others choose to centralise, we at OnRoad do the opposite. Local knowledge and personal relationships are high on our list of priorities.

3. We create unique solutions by using existing ones.
The wheel has already been invented, so why do it again? Since the start of the network, all OnRoad companies have had some of the best performing organisations, routes and systems in the industry. At OnRoad, we like to take the best bits from our partners and put them together to make our own solution. Our nationwide distribution network is based on our partners’ expertise. We’ve simply merged several smaller companies into one big one.

4. Small central organisation
At OnRoad we like decentralisation and local, personalised contact. Running a business in this way while being cost-effective requires a small central organisation. And, to be honest, why do we need a big central apparatus when we have so much expertise among our partners? OnRoad’s small central organisation works on IT development, coordination, business and product development and communication.
